Weisz and W. Li report the LOTOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about 18.6) on unfiltered KAIT images on July 23.2 and 25.2 UT. SN 2003gp is located at R.A. = 16h03m55s.47, Decl. = +25o00'24".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 12".9 east and 12".0 south of the nucleus of UGC 10160. A KAIT image of the same field on July 16.2 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag about 19.0). NOTE: These 'Central Bureau Electronic Telegrams' are intended to be preliminary announcements of items that later appear in the formal IAU Circulars.
