Boles, Coddenham, Suffolk, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova of mag 18.2 on unfiltered CCD images taken on Sept. 16.054 and 16.966 UT (limiting mag 20.5) with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 2h36m26s.53, Decl. = +35o59'25".5, which is approximately 8".9 east and 1".0 north of the center of its host galaxy. The suspect is not present on Boles' images from 2003 Dec. 28 and Nov. 27 (limiting mag 19.5), and it is not present on DSS II red (1986.907, limiting mag 21.0) or blue plates (1987.752, limiting mag 20.5).
