Puckett and A. Langoussis report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.7) on two unfiltered CCD frames taken with the 0.35-m automated supernova patrol telescope on May 19.22 UT. The new object was confirmed (also at mag 17.7) on CCD frames taken by B. Harris (Oviedo, FL, 0.40-m reflector) on May 20.12. SN 2005cc is located at R.A. = 13h57m04s.85, Decl. = +41o50'41".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 1".2 west and 5".0 south of the center of NGC 5383. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on 2002 Apr. 29 and 2003 May 12 (limiting mag about 19.5-20.0).
