Puckett and M. Peoples report the an outburst of this object (cf. IAUC 7214) at mag 17.1 on unfiltered CCD frames taken with the 0.60-m reflector on Sept. 12.12 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The variable is located at R.A. = 18h35m56s.33, Decl. = +22o26'40".1 (equinox 2000.0), which is near UGC 11289. Images by Puckett confirmed the object brightening to mag 16.1 on CCD frames taken on Sept. 13.13. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on Sept. 9.16 (limiting mag 20.1).
