SUPERNOVA 2005kc IN NGC 7311
     Further to IAUC 8615, T. Puckett and G. Sostero report the
discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.2) on an unfiltered
CCD frame taken with the 0.35-m automated supernova patrol
telescope on Nov. 9.04 UT.  The new object was confirmed at mag
18.0 on multiple CCD frames taken with a 0.60-m reflector on Nov.
11.02.  SN 2005kc is located at R.A. = 22h34m07s.34, Decl. =
+5o34'06".3 (equinox 2000.0), which is 7".6 east and 7".4 south of
the center of NGC 7311.  Nothing is visible at this location on
images taken by Puckett on Sept 6 and 9 (limiting mag about 20.0).
