Ponticello and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.3) on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Jan. 20.09 and 21.09 UT. The new object is located at R.A. = 0h20m20s.15, Decl. = +7o42'07".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 0".5 east and 4".7 north of the center of IC 13. Additional KAIT magnitudes for 2006J: 2005 Oct 29.15, [19.5; Dec. 17.17, [18.5; 2006 Jan. 21.09, 18.3.
