Lin report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about 18.0) on unfiltered CCD images taken in the course of the Taiwan Supernova Survey on Feb. 4.667 UT (at mag about 18.0) and 6.648 (mag 18.2) with the 1-m Lulin Observatory telescope (cf. IAUC 8567). SN 2006V is located at R.A. = 11h31m30s.01, Decl. = -2o17'52".2 (equinox 2000.0), which is 32".1 west and 40".4 north of the center of UGC 6510. Nothing was visible at this position on an image taken on 2005 Dec 21.848 (limiting mag about 18.8).
