J. Foley, J. M. Silverman, M. Moore, and A. V. Filippenko, University of California, Berkeley, report that inspection of CCD spectra (range 330-1040 nm), obtained on Aug. 24 UT with the Shane 3-m telescope (+ Kast) at Lick Observatory, shows that SNe 2006ed (cf. CBET 597) and 2006ee (cf. CBET 597) are of type II, perhaps 2 weeks after the explosion. Removing the recession velocities of 5060 and 4580 km/s, found from host-galaxy narrow emission lines, the minimum of the H-alpha P-Cyg absorption is blueshifted by 9100 and 8500 km/s for 2006ed and 2006ee, respectively. In SN 2006ee, the H-alpha emission greatly dominates over the absorption component. Examination of the spectra of SNe 2006eg (cf. CBET 600), 2006eh (cf. CBET 600), and 2006ei (cf. CBET 600) show them to be of types Ib/c, IIn, and Ic, respectively. The low-quality spectrum of SN 2006eg shows it to already be in the nebular phase. The spectrum of SN 2006ei, though noisy, is similar to that of SN 1987M at approximately a week after maximum light (Filippenko et al. 1990, A.J. 100, 1575). The spectra of SNe 2006ef (CBET 597) and 2006ej (CBET 603) show that they are of type Ia with spectral-feature ages (Riess et al. 1997, A.J. 114, 722) of 3.5 +/- 2.0 and -1.1 +/- 2.0 days relative to B-band maximum, respectively. Removing the recession velocities of 5361 and 6131 km/s (Abazajian et al. 2003, A.J. 126, 2081) for SNe 2006ef and 2006ej, the minima of the Si II 635.5-nm absorption are blueshifted by 12000 and 13000 km/s, respectively.
