Madison and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Oct. 21.46 (at mag 17.4) and 23.45 UT (mag 17.6). SN 2006kf is located at R.A. = 3h41m50s.48, Decl. = +8o09'25".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 5".5 west and 10".6 south of the nucleus of UGC 2829. A KAIT image taken on Sept. 26.53 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 18.8).
