Duszanowicz, Akersberga, Sweden, reports his discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.0) on unfiltered CCD frames (limiting mag 17.5) taken on Oct. 28.124 UT with a 0.32-m f/3.1 reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 11h32m03.30, Decl. = +36d42'03".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is 10" east and 12" north of the center of UGC 6517. Additional R-band magnitudes for 2006lv: 2005 Apr. 5.86, [18.0; 11.86, [18.0; 2006 Nov. 2.10, 16.7; 3.03, 15.8 (image by F. Andersson, 0.90-m reflector, near Uppsala; measurements by J. Warell).
