Banerjee, Physical Research Laboratory, report further observations of this nova (cf. CBET 864), obtained on Mar. 4.95 UT with the Mt. Abu 1.2-m telescope, clearly show a sharply rising continuum in the 1.08- to 2.35-micron region of the J, H, and K bands, indicating that dust formation in the nova ejecta is now detectable. The emission lines reported on CBET 864 are still present, though less prominent.
