Gagliano report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.0) on a CCD image (limiting mag 19.0) taken with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay, GA, on Mar. 7.29 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search; 2007ag was confirmed at mag 17.5 by T. Orff and D. Lane (Stillwater Lake, NS, 0.35-m reflector) on Mar. 8.12. The new object is located at R.A. = 10h01m35s.99, Decl. = +21o36'42".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 4".0 east and 15".5 north of the center of UGC 5392. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on Feb. 24 (limiting mag 19.4).
