Slechta, Z. Podskalsky, and M. Kartak, Astronomical Institute, Ondrejov, Czech Republic, report spectra of N Vul 2007 were obtained with the Ondrejov 2-m telescope. A coude spectrum (resolving power 13000, 0.025 nm/pixel, range 625-675 nm) on Aug. 15.003 UT shows a broad-emission (FWHM = 2600 km/s) H_alpha profile (relative emission strength 6.9 times that of the continuum) with a central absorption at +500 km/s and shallow P-Cyg absorption at the blue edge of H_alpha. The He I 667.8-nm line has two peaks (relative emission strengths 1.7 and 2.0 times that of the continuum) with maxima placed at -1490 and +1430 km/s (+/- 50 km/s), respectively. On the similar spectrum from Aug. 15.99, this 3300-km/s-wide line has an almost-flat top, and the small absorption on the left side of the H_alpha profile has disappeared. The high-resolution spectrum obtained with the Ondrejov echelle spectrograph (resolving power about 40000, 0.008 nm/pixel, range 450-800 nm) on Aug. 15.10 confirms the emission nature of He I lines 492.2-, 501.5-, 504.8-, 587.6-, 667.8-, and 706.5-nm with peak maximum placed at 1450 km/s (+/- 80 km/s). CCD magnitude estimates (cf. IAUC 8861, CBET 1029): Aug. 10.01 UT, V = 8.4 +/- 0.05 (G. Bianciardi, University of Siena, remotely using a telescope near Catania, Sicily): Aug. 10.893, R = 9.34 (J. M. Villegas, Mataro, Spain; unfiltered); Aug. 10.973, V = 9.24 +/- 0.02 (Bianciardi); Aug. 11.989, V = 9.13 +/- 0.02 (Bianciardi); Aug. 12.000, V = 8.73 +/- 0.01, R = 8.51 +/- 0.01 (A. Sanchez, Gualba Observatory, Spain); Aug. 12.001, I = 8.52 +/- 0.01 (A. Sanchez, Gualba Observatory, Spain); Aug. 12.859, V = 9.08 +/- 0.02 (Bianciardi). Visual magnitude estimates (cf. CBET 1029): Aug. 10.913 UT, 9.5 (R. Casas, Sabadell, Spain); 10.966, 9.4 (M. A. Fernandez-Ocana, Vallirana, Spain); 11.872, 9.2 (A. Diepvens, Balen, Belgium); 11.952, 8.9 (T. Scarmato, Calabria, Italy); 12.829, 9.0 (Scarmato); 13.838, 8.2 (Scarmato); 13.871, 8.4 (Diepvens); 14.812, 9.9 (Scarmato); 14.902, 9.8 (M. Lehky, Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic).
