Lin, and Y.-T. Chen report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about 18.2) on unfiltered CCD images taken in the course of the Taiwan Supernova Survey (cf. IAUC 8399, 8471, 8864; CBET 976) on 2007 Dec. 30.869 UT with the 1-m Lulin Observatory telescope. The new object is located at R.A. = 11h20m51s.63, Decl. = -29o24'16".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 19".7 west and 6".0 south of the center of PGC 34755. Nothing was visible at the location of 2007uz on a Digitized Sky Survey red image from 1991 Feb. 22 (limiting magnitude about 21.0). A confirming image on 2008 Jan. 1.868 shows 2007uz at mag approximately 18.0. Images identifying 2007uz are available at http://www.astro.ncu.edu.tw/~sne/SN-PGC34755.htm.
