Hug, Scranton, KS, reports his recovery of comet P/2005 R2 on images obtained with the 0.56-m reflector at Sandlot Observatory: 2009 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Mag. Jan. 31.36200 10 57 13.96 +00 44 12.1 20.7 A very faint, straight, narrow tail was observed extending at least 5-6 arcmin in p.a. 300 deg. The indicated correction to the prediction on MPC 62880 is Delta_T = -0.1 day. The above observation and three others, together with a linked orbit and an ephemeris, appear on MPEC 2009-C03.
