Puckett, Ellijay, GA, U.S.A., T. Orff, Shenandoah, PA, U.S.A., and M. Marcus, Ellijay, report additional (apprarently unfiltered CCD) magnitudes for SN2009ao (cf. CBETs 1711, 1725), from images obtained with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay: Mar. 21.16 UT, 16.6 (independent discovery); 22.17, 16.6. They measured its position (average of two images) to be R.A. = 9h38m008s.56 +/- 0s.02, Decl. = +9o31'01".4 +/- 0".3 (equinox 2000.0). A. Dimai, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, reports the following unfiltered CCD imagnitudes for 2009ao from images (limiting magnitude about 18.5) apparently taken by E. Londero (Gemona, Italy) with the 0.5-m "Ullrich" telescope of the Col Druscie Observatory on behalf of the CROSS program (cf. IAUC 7373): Feb. 19, [19.0:; Mar. 20.90, 16.8 (independent discovery); 21.95, 16.7. They also provide position end figures 08s.89, 01".7 (which is 10" east and 25" south of the center of NGC 2939) for 2009ao; their image from Mar. 20 is posted at website http://www.cortinastelle.it/cross/SN-ngc2939_20090320.jpg. E. Prosperi (Larciano, Italy, 0.35-m f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector) writes that 2009ao was at unfiltered CCD mag 16.5 on Mar. 16.886.
