Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an optical transient (mag 17.6) on unfiltered CCD images taken on Aug. 18.082 and 29.081 UT with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 3h32m07s.24, Decl. = +47o47'39".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is approximately 0".1 west and 2".9 south of the center of UGC 2773. Nothing is present at this position on Boles' images from 2008 Feb. 12 and 2007 Dec. 12 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitized Sky Survey plates from 1989 Oct. 7 (limiting red mag 21.0) and 1989 Sept. 12 (limiting blue mag 20.5).
