SUPERNOVA 2009jg
     Further to CBET 1950, A. J. Drake, S. G. Djorgovski, A. Mahabal, M. J.
Graham and R. Williams, California Institute of Technology; M. Catelan,
Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile; E. C. Beshore and S. M. Larson,
Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, University of Arizona; and E. Christensen,
Gemini Observatory, report the CRTS discovery of an apparent supernova in
unfiltered Catalina Sky Survey images:

Following the posting of 2009jg at http://www.supernovae.net (note link to
http://nesssi.cacr.caltech.edu/catalina/20090922/909221180914166153.html),
unfiltered confirmation images were taken by S. Howerton (Arkansas City,
KS, U.S.A.) using the 0.3-m GRAS-1 telescope near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A.
(with 2009jg at mag 16.0) and by J. Brimacombe (New Mexico Skies) using
the 0.6-m RCOS telescope (with 2009jg at mag 15.6).
