Puckett report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.6) on unfiltered CCD images (limiting mag 19.4) taken with a 0.40-m reflector at Portal, AZ, U.S.A., on Oct. 26.46 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The new object, which was confirmed at mag 16.6 on images (limiting mag 19.6) taken by T. Orff on Oct. 27.48 with a 0.40-m reflector at Portal, is located at R.A. = 8h09m43s.04, Decl. = -17o44'51".3 (equinox 2000.0), which is 1".2 east and 14".2 north of the center of MCG -03-21-6. Nothing is visible at this position on images taken by Puckett on 2005 Dec. 22 (limiting mag 19.3).
