Banerjee, and N. M. Ashok, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, report additional near-infrared J-, H-, and K-band spectroscopy and photometric observations of U Sco using the Mt. Abu 1.2-m telescope (+ NICMOS3 Imaging Spectrometer). Magnitudes for U Sco on Jan. 28.9 UT: J = 6.99, H = 6.72, K = 6.32 (with typical errors of 0.03 magnitude). Subsequent to the spectroscopy reported on CBET 2153, JHK spectra were also obtained on Jan. 29.98, showing that the H I and He I lines have strengthened in terms of the peak-to-continuum ratio. No significant change is seen in the FWZI of the lines from their earlier reported value of 10000 km/s. However, the peaks of the the H I lines (Paschen-beta and Brackett-gamma) have become considerably flatter, and the triple-peaked structure seen earlier (CBETs 2152, 2153) is not prominent now.
