B. Andreasen, S. J. Jakobsen, and C. Heje Groenbech, DARS Summer School -- together with J. Fynbo and J. Sollerman, Dark Cosmology Center, Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen University -- report on optical spectroscopy of SNe 2010gs and 2010gj obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+ ALFOSC; range 350-900 nm, resolution 0.8 nm) on Aug. 10.1 UT. The fully reduced spectrum of 2010gs (cf. CBET 2397) in PGS 65331 shows this to be a fairly young type-II supernova with clear Balmer-line P-Cyg profiles. SN 2010gj (cf. 2381) in PGC 190539 is instead a type-Ia supernova a month past explosion; cross-correlation with the library of supernova spectra in SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024), gives the best match for 2010gj with the peculiar supernova 2005hk.
