B. Andreasen, S. J. Jakobsen, and C. Heje Groenbech, DARS Summer School -- together with J. Fynbo and J. Sollerman, Dark Cosmology Center, Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen University -- report on optical spectroscopy of SN 2010gq obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+ ALFOSC; range 350-900 nm, resolution 0.8 nm) on Aug. 11.2 UT. The fully reduced spectrum of 2010gq (cf. CBET 2389) in CGCG 382-041 shows this to be a type-II supernova several months past explosion. The H-alpha line has a FWHM of about 7500 km/s.
