V. Scotti, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, University of Arizona, reports his recovery of comet P/2000 Y3 on images obtained with the 0.9-m Spacewatch reflector at Kitt Peak: 2010 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Mag. Aug. 19.37705 01 57 22.03 +13 10 01.1 20.9 The object was of stellar appearance, with a hint of a tail to the southwest. Confirmatory observations on Aug. 20 showed the object to be essentially stellar. The indicated correction to the prediction on MPC 65937 is Delta_T = -0.46 day. The recovery observations, together with accidental pre-recovery observations on 2009 Sept. 18 by T. H. Bressi with the Spacewatch II telescope, are given on MPEC 2010-Q19, together with a linked 2000-2010 orbit, residuals and a current ephemeris.
