Electronic Telegram No. 2440 Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION CBAT Director: Daniel W. E. H. Marion, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA), on behalf of the CfA Supernova Group, reports on spectroscopic observations (range 340-740 nm) of 2010hh (cf. CBET 2435) obtained on Sept. 3 UT by P. Berlind with the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+ FAST). Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows that the best fit for the spectrum of 2010hh is to that of the sub-luminous (1991bg-like) type-Ia supernova 1986G near maximum light. Toru Yusa, Osaki, Japan, reports that he observed 2010hh remotely using a 0.25-m f/3.4 refrector (+ SBIG ST-10XME camera) located at the RAS Observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A., on Sept. 3.13 UT; his unfiltered CCD images (limiting mag 19.3) yield magnitude 17.7. Further unfiltered CCD images (limiting mag 19.5) taken by Yusa with a 0.30-m f/9.9 reflector at Osaki, Japan, on Sept. 3.596 yield mag 17.6.
