Baek and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images. The new object is located at R.A. = 3h35m04s.35, Decl. = -24o56'38".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 40" east and 40" south of the center of NGC 1371. KAIT magnitudes for 2005ke: Oct. 24.32 UT, [19.5; Nov. 13.33, 17.2; 14.35, 16.3.
