Sostero report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.6) on an unfiltered CCD frame taken with the Puckett Observatory 0.60-m automated supernova patrol telescope in Ellijay, GA, on Dec. 21.12 UT (and confirmed at mag 17.8 by G. Sostero on frames taken on Dec. 21.77 with a 0.45-m reflector at Remanzacco Observatory, Italy). The new object is located at R.A. = 1h23m28s.84, Decl. = +30o46'45".7 (equinox 2000.0), which is 5".4 east and 18".2 south of the center of UGC 934. Nothing was visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24, and Dec. 10 (limiting mag about 19.3-19.9). SN 2003lc also appeared in UGC 934 (cf. IAUC 8260).
