Lee and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.5) on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Feb. 22.53, 23.55, and 24.54 UT. SN 2006am is located at R.A. = 14h27m37s.24, Decl.= +41o15'35".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is 7".5 east and 6".8 north of the nucleus of NGC 5630. A KAIT image taken on 2005 July 4.21 showed nothing at this positon (limiting mag 19.5). SN 2005dp also appeared in NGC 5630.
