Sostero report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.1) on CCD images taken with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay, GA, on Apr. 5.195 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The new object was confirmed at mag 17.9 (limiting mag 19.8) by Puckett with a 0.60-m reflector on Apr. 6.125. SN 2006bm is located at R.A. = 11h18m21s.41, Decl. = +28o12'43".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 4".1 west and 10".5 north of the apparent host galaxy. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on 2005 Sept. 10 (limiting mag 19.4).
