Puckett and M. Peoples report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 15.8) on an image taken with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay, GA, on Aug. 27.15 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. SN 2006en is located at R.A. = 23h10m05s.06, Decl. = +30o13'24".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 10".9 east and 3".8 south of the center of MCG +05-54-41. The new object was confirmed at mag 15.2 by Puckett on images taken on Aug. 28.19. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on 2005 Dec. 15 (limiting mag 19.3).
