Joubert and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.2) on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Nov. 1.24 and 4.19 UT. SN 2006mo is located at R.A. = 0h46m38s.55, Decl. = +36o19'57".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2".4 west and 4".7 north of the center of MCG +06-02-17. A KAIT image taken on Oct. 20.25 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.0). MCG +06-02-17 and MCG +06-02-16 (UGC 480) are interacting galaxies.
