Kroes report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.3) on images taken with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay, GA, on Nov. 18.41 and 21.40 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The new object is located at R.A. = 11h48m03s.47, Decl. = +30o21'24".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 1".0 east and 10".7 south of the center of NGC 3891. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on 2005 Dec. 3 (limiting mag 19.1).
