Zheng, SU, on behalf of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey II collaboration, report the discovery of forty-one new supernovae on multiple g, r, and i images taken with the SDSS 2.5-m telescope at APO by the SDSS observing team, with 34 of them confirmed as type-Ia supernovae, one as a type-I supernova, one as a probable type-Ia supernova, two as type-II events, one as a probable type-II supernova, one as a probable type-Ib supernova, and one as a probable type-Ic hypernova. Romani, Zheng, Sako, Wheeler, and Schneider, together with U. Hopp (University of Munich) and W. Kollatschny (University of Goettingen), report that spectroscopic observations with the Hobby Eberly Telescope on Nov. 20-25 UT indicate that 2006oy, 2006pb, 2006pd, 2006ph, 2006pk, 2006pj, 2006pg, 2006pm, 2006pi, and 2006pl are type-Ia supernovae, and 2006pa is a probable type-Ia supernova. M. Stritzinger and J. Sollerman, Dark Cosmology Center (DCC); A. Goobar, University of Stockholm (US); and R. Nichol and M. Smith, UP, report that observations by Stritzinger and G. Leloudas (DCC) with the Nordic Optical Telescope on Nov. 23 indicate that 2006pn, 2006ps, and 2006pr are type-Ia supernovae, 2006oz is a probable type-Ib event, and 2006pu is a type-II supernova. R. J. Foley and A. V. Filippenko, University of California, Berkeley, report that observations with the Keck I telescope (+ LRIS) on Nov. 23 UT indicate that 2006pq, 2006pf, 2006pt, and 2006pz are type-Ia supernovae. A. Ruiz-Lapuente and F. Castander, University of Barcelona; A. Romer, University of Sussex; C. Collins, Liverpool John Moores University; and J. Lucey and A. Edge, University of Durham, report that spectroscopy obtained by M. Smith (UP), L. Ostman (US), and J. Sollerman on Nov. 24 and 25 UT with the European Southern Observatory 3.6-m New Technology Telescope shows that 2006py, 2006pe, 2006po, 2006qc, 2006qg, 2006qh, and 2006qj are type-Ia supernovae, 2006qk is a probable type-Ic hypernova, and 2006pc is a type-II supernova. Spectroscopic observations with the Subaru 8-m telescope by N. Takanashi, Y. Ihara, T. Morokuma, K. Tokita, K. Konishi, and N. Yasuda on Nov. 26 UT indicate that 2006pw, 2006qe, 2006pp, 2006qi, 2006ql, 2006qa, 2006qb, 2006pv, 2006qd, and 2006px are type-Ia supernovae, 2006qm is a type-I supernova, and 2006qf is a probable type-II supernova. The discovery magnitudes tabulated below are all SDSS g magnitudes. Spectroscopic redshifts are given in the column labelled "z". Peak dates (all 2006) are approximate estimates from early fits to the multi-band light curves or from the spectra. SN Discov. R.A. (2000.0) Decl.
