SUPERNOVA 2007K IN MCG +06-20-50
     Further to IAUC 8794, D. R. Madison and W. Li report the LOSS
discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on
Jan. 16.40 (at mag 17.2) and 18.32 UT (mag 17.1).  SN 2007K is located
at R.A. = 9h14m26s.21, Decl. = +36o06'52".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is
0".3 east and 8".1 north of MCG +06-20-50.  A KAIT image on 2006 Dec.
3.39 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.5).
