Joubert and W. Li report the observations of an apparent supernova (mag 17.2) on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Apr. 2.15 and 3.18 UT. The new object is located at R.A. = 7h01m07s.46, Decl. = +51o15'57".3 (equinox 2000.0), which is 22".3 east and 14".0 south of the center of UGC 3627. A KAIT image taken on Mar. 18.19 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 18.9).
