Prasad and W. Li report the observations of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Apr. 4.18 (at mag 18.4) and 6.20 UT (mag 17.6). The new object is located at R.A. = 8h31m33s.28, Decl. = -1o11'58".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 7".6 east and 5".1 north of the center of UGC 4455. A KAIT image taken on Mar. 12.25 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.0).
