Holtzman, New Mexico State University, Las Cruces) reports the discovery of two supernovae in images obtained on Aug. 3 and 5 UT using the QUEST-II camera on the Palomar Oschin 1.2-m Schmidt telescope, operated by the Palomar-QUEST Consortium. Spectra (range 320-1000 nm) obtained on Aug. 6.6 and 6.4 with the SuperNova Integral Field Spectrograph on the University of Hawaii 2.2-m telescope were used to classify each: 2007gl was around maximum, while 2007gm was a few months past maximum. R-band discovery magnitudes and astrometry were derived from comparison with the USNO-B1.0 catalogue. SN 2007 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl.
