Li reports the discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Nov. 24.54 (at mag 16.8) and 26.53 UT (mag 16.9). The new object is located at R.A. = 11h02m34s.29, Decl. = +50o34'58".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 6".5 west and 2".1 north of the nucleus of UGC 6109. A KAIT image taken on May 8.11 showed nothing at this location (limiting mag 19.1).
