CBET 1589) discovery of an apparent supernova in unfiltered Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) images: SN 2009 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. Offset 2009ac Feb. 5.13 2 08 30.11 +12 44 18.5 17.4 3".5 E, 18".2 N Further magnitudes for 2009ac: Jan. 18.16 UT, [20.0 (CSS); Feb. 12.13, g = 18.6, r = 18.0, i = 18.3 (Palomar 1.52-m reflector + Gunn filters). The host galaxy, SDSS J020829.87+124400.0, has Gunn magnitudes u = 18.1, g = 16.1, r = 15.3, i = 14.9, and z = 14.5, and redshift z = 0.035.
