Puckett report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.0) on unfiltered CCD images (limiting mag 18.6) taken with a 0.40-m reflector at Portal, AZ, U.S.A., on Jan. 4.14 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The new object, which was confirmed at mag 15.8 on images (limiting mag 18.9) taken by T. Orff on Jan. 5.17 with a 0.40-m reflector in Portal, is located at R.A. = 2h32m39s.46, Decl. = +0o37'10".2 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2".4 east and 6".9 north of the center of UGC 2019. Nothing is visible at this position on images taken by Puckett on 2009 Nov. 16 (limiting mag 19.2).
