The new object is located at R.A. = 2h02m32s.48, Decl. = -79d40'52".5 (equinox 2000.0; uncertainty about 0".25 in each coordinate), which is approximately 1" east and 35" south of the center of the galaxy ESO 13-G28. Nothing is visible at this position in an image taken on 2009 Dec. 7.546 (limiting mag 19) or on the Digitized Sky Survey.
