Newton and T. Puckett report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.1) on unfiltered CCD images (limiting mag 19.2) taken with a 0.40-m reflector at Portal, AZ, U.S.A., on Mar. 12.39 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The new object, which was confirmed at mag 17.0 on images (limiting mag 19.3) taken by T. Orff on Mar. 13.29 with a 0.40-m reflector at Portal, is located at R.A. = 12h40m15s.16, Decl. = -9o18'14".3 (equinox 2000.0), which is 12".4 west and 11".7 north of the center of MCG -01-32-35. Nothing is visible at this position on images taken by Puckett on 2005 Apr. 6 (limiting mag 19.1).
