Electronic Telegram No. 2445 Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION CBAT Director: Daniel W. E. Guerrini and himself of an apparent supernova (mag about 16.6) on an unfiltered CCD image (limiting mag about 19.0) taken on 2010 Sept. 4.01 UT during the Montarrenti Observatory Supernovae Search program using a 0.53-m f/7.8 Ritchey-Chretien telescope (+ Apogee Alta U47 CCD camera). The new object, which is present at mag about 16.7 also in eight unfiltered CCD images (limiting mag about 18.8) taken with the same telescope during Sept. 4.948-4.958, is located at R.A. = 23h19m10s.24, Decl. = +9d11'54".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is 3" east and 12" north of the nucleus of the galaxy PGC 1361264. Nothing is visible at this position in two images taken on 2009 Oct. 11.941 (limiting mag about 18.8), and 2010ho does not appear on Palomar Sky Survey infrared, red, and blue plates (1995 Sept. 18, F plate; 1951 Aug. 9, J plate; 1990 July 28, N plate, limiting mag 19.5). The discovery image of 2010ho is posted at URL http://www.jacopobaldi.it/dati/psn%20PGC1361264.jpg, and the confirmation image at http://www.jacopobaldi.it/dati/confirmation%20psn%20PGC%201361264.jpg.
