Narla, S. B. Cenko, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images: SN 2011 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. Offset 2011O Jan. 18.56 13 54 19.96 +32 55 39.4 18.1 0".8 E, 8".5 S Additional KAIT magnitudes for 2011O: a co-added frame from 2010 Apr.-July, [19.5; 2011 Jan. 25.50 UT, 18.3. This object was posted on the Central Bureau's TOCP webpage with provisional designation PSN J13541996+3255394 and is here designated SN 2011O. J. M. Silverman, A. T. Merritt, F. Fornasini, and A. V. Filippenko, University of California, Berkeley, report that inspection of a CCD spectrum (range 340-1000 nm), obtained on Jan. 26 UT with the 3-m Shane reflector (+ Kast) at Lick Observatory, shows that 2011O is a type-II supernova with well-developed P-Cyg line profiles. After removal of the host-galaxy recession velocity of 7845 km/s (measured from narrow host-galaxy emission lines), they find the absorption minimum of the H-alpha line to be blue- shifted by about 6600 km/s.
