COMET KOHOUTEK (1969b) Dr. R. L. Waterfield, Woolston Observatory, provides the following precise positions. Between Oct. 1 and Dec. 4 there was a moderately compact coma 25" in diameter, a faint outer coma, and a tail 30 to 90" long at about p.a. 120o. On Jan. 4 there was a very compact coma 15" across, with little or no outer coma or tail. 1969/70 UT R.A. (1950) Decl. Mag.
