COMET VAN DEN BERGH (1974g)
Dr. M. Schmidt, Hale Observatories, reports that Dr. Sidney
van den Bergh has discovered a comet, as shown below. The comet is
diffuse, without condensation or nucleus, but with a short tail.
Observations have also been made by C. Y. Shao and G. Schwartz at
Harvard College Observatory's Agassiz Station.

COMET BENNETT (1974h)
Mr. John C. Bennett, Pretoria, reports the discovery of a
comet, as shown below. The comet is diffuse, with neither condensation
nor tail. An observation has also been reported by J. Hers,
Randburg.
