F. Dossin (European Southern Observatory). Central condensation of
magnitude 12.5 and fanshaped coma extending 15" north and east.
D. Herald (Woden, near Canberra). 31-cm reflector. The comet is
small (2' to 3' diameter) with neither condensation nor tail.
S. Stephenson (Glenroy, near Melbourne). Comet diffuse without
condensation. Communicated by J. B. Trainor.
The following parabolic elements, by the undersigned, satisfy
four of the six available accurate positions within 4":
