Circular No. 3588 Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION Postal Address: Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, Cambridge, MA 02138, U.S.A. TWX 710-320-6842 ASTROGRAM CAM Telephone 617-864-5758 PERIODIC COMET GUNN T. Nomura, Waseda University, Tokyo, writes that the 1954 comet recently noted on the Palomar Sky Survey (IAUC 3540) is in fact a prediscovery record of P/Gunn. Computations at the Central Bureau have confirmed this identification. 1981 CW E. Bowell, Lowell Observatory, writes that N. G. Thomas has discovered another probable Amor-type object on exposures with the 0.33-m photographic telescope at the Anderson Mesa station. He provides the discovery measurements below, together with probable recovery measurements from similar plates taken by B. A. Skiff. 1981 UT R.A. (1950) Decl. Mag.
