F. A'Hearn writes: "The Working Group on Standard Filters for Cometary Photometry established by IAU Commission 15 announces the availability of sets of standardized filters for photoelectric photometry (non-imaging) of comets. Observers wishing to obtain a set of filters should contact me at the address: Astronomy Program, University of Maryland, College Park, MD 20742, U.S.A." NOTICE TO CONTRIBUTORS Several recent contributions with complex astrophysical data telexed or telegraphed to the Central Bureau have been received in rather pitiful form. Contributors should ensure that there are sufficient checks on numerical data and should refrain from using obscure or ambiguous abbreviations. It is recommended that a copy of the material also be sent by mail. 1981 May 1 (3600) Brian G. Marsden
