NOTICE TO CONTRIBUTORS
The recording machine normally attached to the Certral Bureau's
telephone number 617-864-5758 has been out of order since early
November but is expected to be repaired shortly. This problem brings
up the point that urgent communications can (and generally should)
be sent by telex/TWX or telegram/cablegram to the TWX number
710-320-6842 (answerback ASTROGRAM CAM). This reliable service is
available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the Bureau frequently
acts within minutes of the receipt of a message. Use of the
Smithsonian Observatory's SATELLITE-CAM telex, however, results in delay.
1981 November 20 (3646) Brian G. Marsden
