Everhart reports his recovery of this comet with the 0.4-m reflector at the Chamberlin Observatory's field station. The image of the comet was not obviously condensed on Nov. 3, but some condensation was probable on Nov. 7. Confirmation of the recovery was made by J. Gibson, who obtained a rather well exposed, diffuse and condensed image with the 1.2-m Palomar Schmidt telescope: 1983 UT R.A.
